EVERYBODY’S SCALIN’ – FMS TYPE82E RTR 1/12 BEETLE TRAIL RUN

The ROCHobby TYPE82E RTR 1/12 Beetle is one of FMS’s top scale rigs. Opening doors, hood, trunk, working fan belt, detailed interior, and the ability to switch from 2wd to 4wd along with a high and low gear adds up to a wicked scale rig. When our running video came out, I felt like the film could have been better. But giving the time of year we received the bug there wasn’t a lot I could do. Yeah, the beetle has 4×4 but the diffs are open, the open diffs made driving in the snow a big challenge. It is something that has been bothering me for some time, like a project that you have finished but you know that you could have done much better.
